Comrade in America (abbreviated as CIA) is a Malayalam political romantic comedy film directed by Amal Neerad, starring young Superstar Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. CIA is jointly produced by Anwar Rasheed and Amal Neerad. Mollywood heart-throb Dulquer is joining hands with Anwar Rasheed after 'Bangalore Days' . CIA has one of the most awaited movie for many reaosns, the prominent one being its Amal Neerad directorial after 'Iyobinte Pustakam'.
Dulquer Salmaan appears as the central character Aji John, a Pala-based youngster . Aji falls in love with a girl who he meets in his hometown, and later travels to the USA in search of his estranged girlfriend. Karthika Muralidharan appears as Aji's love interest in the movie. Comrade In America will also have Chandini Sreedharan, Dileesh Pathan , Soubin Shahir, Jinu Joseph, John Vijay, etc., in the cast. Ranadive handles the cinematography.
