By InCinemas  /  23 Oct 2013 (Wednesday)

Trick or Treat! InCinemas is on a countdown to Halloween and to celebrate this spooky-fun occasion, here’s a whole lot of things you can do to spice up your Halloween!

Well, we’re not going to give advice on Halloween costumes though we do hope everyone would turn up like the cute little minions and invade Orchard Road on the Halloween weekend! Now, we just need to think who could we nominate to be Gru?

If you're really interested in dressing up like Stuart or Dave, here's a tutorial we did a while back on how to make your own minion cap!

Nothing beats watching a horror film in a dark theatre with superb surround sound to add to the creepy atmosphere! To spice up your Halloween, here are a few movies you should catch while it screens InCinemas!

A reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.

Several years have passed since the “cursed video clip” incidents. There is a mysterious outbreak of multiple deaths, but the cause is unknown. At the same time, there are many incidents of disappearance. Perhaps it is an outbreak of some new kind of virus, or intentional terrorist activity? During the ongoing investigation, it is established that there is some kind of relationship to the “cursed video clip” incidents that occurred a few years earlier...

A mysterious little girl holds the key to solving the story. Does this little girl have some kind of connection to Sadako? When all of the incidents are linked as one, the ultimate extent of the mystery is revealed.

Haunted Houses Anyone...?

It’s safe to say that a Halloween celebration in Singapore probably means a trip to haunted houses for some spine-chilling fun. You get frightened by the ‘ghosts’ and ‘chabas’ while you walk the trails, but unknowingly find yourself wanting more at the end of it.

Here are two popular haunted house trails you can consider. (Guys, this is the time!)

Sentosa Spooktacular

You've heard about these popular haunted trails, you know you want to scream and just have fun with your friends, and Sentosa Spooktacular will do just that.

This year's Sentosa Spooktacular brings the classic Thai horror movie to life, re-enacting several scenes that once gave you the frights and chills. It's "exciting" to know that the 5 trails are designed based on Coming Soon, Shutter, Body, Dorm and the recent 2013 released movie Pee Mak.

Museum Of Horrors

This 4th Halloween signature event sees a collaboration with students from Singapore Polytechnic Diploma in Integrated Events & Project Management course, Movie Mania and *SCAPE, where it promises a gory and terrifying experience for participants.

(How about a read on my short yet creepy experience at Museum of Horrors!)

So, what are your Halloween plans?
