'The Maze Runner' Gets A Sequel, Concept Art Revealed!

James Dashner's young adult fiction The Maze Runner is set for a sequel titled The Scorch Trials, has received a September 2015 release date.

Earning more than $32.5 million since its debut weekend in the US, The Maze Runner seems like a fan-favourite, beating out other YA adapted films like Ender's Game and Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

It is said that the sequel is in its pre-production process and is scheduled to premiere on September 18, 2015, the same weekend that The Maze Runner hit theaters.
As of now, there is no confirmed date given for a Singapore release.

[Synopsis]
Based on the best-selling young adult thriller, THE MAZE RUNNER is set in a post-apocalyptic world, where Thomas is deposited in a community of young men after his memory is erased. After learning they're all trapped in a maze, Thomas joins forces with fellow "runners" to not only escape the maze, but solve its riddle and reveal the chilling secret of who brought them there, and why.
