The singer-turned-actor Edwin Siu might be just be the next leading actor in TVB. In addition to meatier roles in coming dramas, he has four dramas slated to air in the coming months!
“I am thankful for the opportunities,” said the actor during an interview when he was in Singapore to promote the annual StarHub TVB Awards happening on the 11th of October.

One of TVB’s biggest stars Raymond Lam left the company in August and many saw that as a window of opportunity to become the next leader star. On the other hand, there has been a surge of new up-and-coming actors entering the industry. When asked if he was pressured by it, he declined with a smile, adding “ I never thought of comparing myself with other actors. We’re all very different.”
He publicly announced his relationship with actress Priscilla Wong in May and shared that it ‘wasn’t smooth-sailing’ at the beginning after he made the announcement. “I think our relationship is better now. I had random strangers coming up to congratulate me, telling me that she (Wong) is a nice girl,” the 37-year-old actor recalled.
So, is Edwin Siu a romantic boyfriend? “Okay la…” he smiled shyly.
