After much anticipation of Donnie Yen's 'Ip Man' series, Ip Man 3 is now scheduled to release in Singapore on 24 December 2015, instead of a Chinese New Year premiere.
Directed Wilson Ip and featuring a slew of international stars including American boxer Mike Tyson, and martial arts star Max Zhang张晋. If you have not heard, a digitally-resurrected Bruce Lee will also appear in the film.
At the press conference announcement in May, Donnie Yen had expressed his admiration and respect for Bruce Lee. Though impossible to spar with Lee in real life, he described battling with the master in the movie as a dream come true. Robert Lee, Brue Lee’s brother, has been appointed as a consultant of the movie. He endorsed the production team’s use of computer graphics to reconstruct Bruce Lee in the movie. Although Bruce Lee is irreplaceable, he added, he is grateful of the team’s respect in the kung fu master and is looking forward to seeing his brother in the movie.
