The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences unveiled its official theme and tagline for this year's Oscars: "We All Dream In Gold".
In the new promo video, we see clips of this year's popular titles like 'Joy', 'Room' 'The Martian' and 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens', together with footage from previous Oscar ceremonies. Narrated by 'the voice of God', Morgan Freeman, he tells us "Some dream of falling in love, others dream of galaxies far, far away, and some dream of changing the world... But there is one night we all dream in gold".
In addition, take a look at some of the one-page keyart featuring past Academy Award winners like Meryl Streep, Ben Affleck, Lupita Nyong'o, Javier Bardem, Jamie Foxx and more.
This Thursday, don't miss the nominee announcement of the 88th Annual Academy Awards 2016! Filmmakers Guillermo del Toro, John Krasinski and Ang Lee, together with Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs, will announce the nominations of all 24 Oscar® categories at a special two-part live news conference in Beverly Hills, televised live on HBO (StarHub TV Ch 601) at 9.30pm on January 14, 2016.
THE 88TH ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS will be broadcast live exclusively on HBO this February 29 at 9.30am, with a same night primetime encore at 8pm.
The awards show will also be streamed live on HBO GO on StarHub Go!
