Just yesterday (16 June) at PORN'S Safra Mount Faber, fans of Alien Huang (A.K.A. 小鬼) managed to catch a glimpse of him when he appeared for the Already Famous Start-Of-Principal Photography Ceremony, along with the cast, Michelle Chong, Alaric Tay, Cynthia Koh, Nat Ho, Chen Romeo and more!
Yes, Alien Huang is here in Singapore to begin the production of Michelle Chong's directorial debut, 'Already Famous'! We believe he'll be here for at least a month as the filming is scheduled for a 4-weeks shoot. The script was actually written by Michelle Chong herself 9 years back and just three years ago, it has been taken off the shelves for considerations of turning it into a movie when Michelle's producer friends mentioned about it.
Produced by Huat Films, the movie sees leading health and beauty retailer Watsons coming in as the Presenter and bubble tea chain Gong Cha Offical Sponsor.

Addressing to the crowd, Michelle thanked all everyone for coming down today and also her friends for their participation in her movie. "I realise that I'm well-loved by everyone as I'm overwhelmed by their enthusiastic support when making this movie. I'm thankful to them all."
"Also to Alien Huang, his new album has been pushed back to the later of the year because of his involvement in Already Famous. So I would like to apologise to his fans," Michelle added, turning to Alien Huang. However, she notes that the release date of Alien's new album by then will also coincide with the movie release and the both of them cherish this fate. Alien took over and said, "I'm really happy to come to Singapore and to be starred in this movie, Already Famous. Many thanks to Michelle director and everyone."
Just when the time has come to seek 'approval' by throwing the 'Sheng Pei', you can notice a worried look in Michelle's face. Michelle declared, "This is the most stressful part and I'm most worried about this [procedure]. In fact, since a few weeks back, I've stopped taking beef as I'm afraid that Guan Yin Ma (Goddess of Mercy) will be unhappy."
Michelle prayed sincerely for a considerable of time before throwing the 'Sheng Pei'. And meanwhile, Alien Huang gave a pose of focusing all the attention on the worried Michelle, bringing smiles to the crowd (Refer to PICTURE below). With a loud sound of 'clack', everyone heaved an euphoric sigh of relief and Michelle appeared very pleased with the auspicious omen. I would say that her sincerity has paid off! Congrats!
While the offering of incense continued, Cynthia Koh wished Michelle good luck and that she's really happy that Michelle has finally got her wish come true. We also learnt that Nat Ho actually agreed immediately to be involved in Michelle's directorial debut without knowing what role he'll be cast in. Alaric went on saying that Already Famous is Michelle's first featured film and they should help one another in this small local movie industry.
As for Romeo, Michelle revealed that Romeo was her favourite during the Star Search Compeition and she put her bet on Romeo but he didn't even claim the top 3. "That's why I'm here to repay my debt," Romeo joked.
Never had Michelle dreamt that her script will finally put into production and 16 June 2011 marks the day for the filming to begin! Wonder how Alien huang will look like as a coffee boy? Well, it is not out yet but with all going smoothly and also the combination of the Taiwanese idol, Alien Huang, starring along side with our Singaporean artiste Michelle Chong, better known for her ability to 'shape-shift' into many characters, will you not look forward to Already Famous at the end of 2011?

[Movie Synopsis]
In a small town in Malaysia, there is a girl named Lim Ka Kiao, aka Ah Kiao, who has a dream of appearing on television. Ah Kiao lives and breathes Singapore-made Chinese drama serials. She knows the lines of every Channel 8 drama serial and the walls of her small spartan room are covered by entertainment magazine cut-outs of stars.
Ah Kiao can’t tell Brad Pitt from Leonardo DiCaprio, but she especially loves Zoe Tay and
Fann Wong. And this year, Ah Kiao has made a decision. She is going to join the stars.
We follow Ah Kiao's journey across the causeway as she sets out to fulfill her dreams of becoming a star in Singapore, or at least getting close to them. Her adventures range from trying to become a model, to becoming an extra in a drama serial. Along the way, she gets side-tracked by a handsome but earnest coffeeshop assistant, Ah Seng, who understands her dreams without her having to utter a single word.
With many famous local celebrities and personalities making guest appearances as themselves, ALREADY FAMOUS is a homegrown comedy that will appeal to anyone who's grown up watching local television. The movie also offers a rare insight into the local entertainment industry, and will have audiences everywhere rooting for the innocent and determined Ah Kiao, who unwittingly becomes the underdog in the complicated world of Showbiz. With the nuanced script and realistic dialogue, the movie will leave you in stitches (and in tears). ALREADY FAMOUS is the Asian Underdog Made Good movie (励志电影) that Singaporeans will be proud to call their own.
A story of hopes and dreams, seemingly light-hearted but not without moments of vulnerability and emotion, ALREADY FAMOUS is not just about the trials and tribulations of making it in showbiz, but also a message of truth and heart to anyone who's ever wished upon a star.
