The 32-year-old host of the popular cooking show MOCO’s Kitchen will be in Singapore for the first time. He has been invited by Asian entertainment channel GEM (Singtel TV Channel 519) for an exclusive closed-door fan meet called ‘A Date with Moco’ on 2 October 2016, following a successful fan meet in Hong Kong. Fans who are interested to attend the fan meet would have to participate in a contest for a chance to meet Moco. MOCO’s Kitchen features simple gourmet recipes that the audience can try at home. Moco’s visit to Singapore includes filming of a special episode of the show. In this episode, he explores Singapore’s local cuisines and incorporates local flavours and ingredients in his cooking. This special episode will be aired first and exclusively on GEM.

Mocomichi Hayami is famous for his roles in Nippon TV dramas such as Gokusen 2 and Rebound. The multi-talented actor is fondly known to his fans as ‘Prince of Olive Oil’. His cookbook ‘MOCO’S Kitchen’, featuring over 500 recipes from the show, won the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards’ Japanese cooking category in 2013.
