Apart from film screenings, there will be seminars and workshops for the animation fans to learn from industry experts as they share their experiences as animation filmmakers.

The festival will open with Brazilian film ‘Boy And The World (O MENINO E O MUNDO) by Alê Abreu on 13 October 2016, which was nominated for an Academy Award® for Best Animated Feature this year. You definitely wouldn’t want to miss ‘Harvie Krumpet’ by Elliot, which won the Academy Award® for Best Animated Short Film in 2004.

The local ‘SG Animated Shorts Showcase’ will screen selected Singapore shorts from new and upcoming talents by Singaporean students.

There will be a total of 5 screenings, 2 talks and 2 panel discussions during the festival.
