Alicia Keys to headline ‘Rock On! 2017’ - Singapore’s NYE Concert!

Usher in the new year with music extravaganza ‘Rock On! 2017’ - the largest countdown party boasting 12 top acts with 8 hours of music! Top international, regional and local acts will cover eight hours of music entertainment, each putting up at least 20-minute long performances, complete with the full band!

Global singer, songwriter, producer and philanthropist Alicia Keys will headline the concert with a solid 40 minute set of soulful and powerful performances speaking to the cultural climate of the world today. The 15-time Grammy Award-winning artist just released her sixth studio album “Here” to critical acclaim.
It is said that another international act will also be rocking the stage that night. Stay tuned to InCinemas to find out who is the singer!
Apart from Keys, a star-studded Mandopop lineup has also been confirmed. Taiwanese multi-hyphenate Rainie Yang (杨丞琳), rock maestro Shin (信), singer-songwriters Penny Tai (戴佩妮), Kenji Wu (吴克群) and Eric Chou (周兴哲) will be joining the ranks at the world-renowned venue.
Not forgetting homegrown talents, our very talented singer and actress Joi Chua (蔡淳佳), Chriz Tong（汤薇恩) , Ferlyn G, rock band Shirlyn & The UnXpected, Gilded Edge and more will be performing at Rock On! 2017 as well!
The countdown concert expects to attract a 26,000-strong crowd. This world-class concert’s production alone cost a whopping $6 million and will be produced by ‘King of Mandopop’ Jay Chou’s concert production team G-Power Show.
To top off the unforgettable night, an eight-minute fireworks spectacular display will welcome the new year at the stroke of midnight.
