Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Perhaps what you and your partner really love (besides each other) is movies. A movie date sounds perfect, but where should you go to? Some cinemas in Singapore have made special arrangements for that special day.

Get Cozy @ Gemini: Two to View This Valentines
This Valentine’s day promotion is at GV’s Couple’s Cinema, Gemini, available at City Square and Great World City. The seats are more spacious and the whole hall exclusively has couple seats, which means more privacy and less noise.
Besides getting tickets to sneaks of ‘The Space Between Us’ or ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’, the package also includes popcorn, drinks, and a goodie bag filled with a long list of freebies.

Gold Class is GV’s premium offering. This Valentine’s Day is no exception. It comes with a Valentine’s Day menu which includes a main, a drink, a dessert, a glass of champagne, printed photographs, and a rose. You can choose to watch ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ or ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’.

Celebrate Love at Platinum Movie Suites
No special Valentine’s Day package but Cathay offers free perks for buying their Platinum Movie Suites tickets at normal price. Enjoy a complimentary welcome platter (there are 3 options) for each ticket purchased. It costs more on weekend (Friday-Sunday), but that additional $10 comes with wine and popcorn. Their Valentine’s Day option is likely to be ‘Fifty Shades Darker’.

The Projector
The leanest V-day package on this list, it is simply a normal film experience at The Projector. No bells and whistles and no added cost. The classic look of this refurbished cinema might be more special (and romantic) than your usual venues, though.
Four films are in their recommendation: the now-showing, record-breaking ‘La La Land’, limited screening of the acclaimed anime ‘Your Name’, the return of last year’s romance about the Obamas ‘Southside with You’, and most notably the screening of 2001 musical classic ‘Moulin Rouge!’.

Singapore Botanic Gardens
If you and your partner likes the outdoors (and free movies), get your picnic mat and head down for a screening of an animated film, “Snowtime’, held by High Commision of Canada. There are various free concerts and performances at various spots in the Garden over that weekend as well.
