Wonder Woman Artworks on Display at Kinokuniya Main Store

From 2 May to 4 June, in anticipation of the release of the Wonder Woman movie, Kinokuniya Main Store (Ngee Ann City) is displaying this fantastic Wonder Woman-inspired illustrations created by artist Sonny Liew, author of the widely successful graphic novel “The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye”.

Sonny Liew is a Malaysia-born Singaporean comic artist and illustrator. His work "The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye” about Singapore's political history in the 1950s and 1960s was the first graphic novel to win the Singapore Literature Prize in 2016. The novel also became an Amazon and The New York Times best seller. With this novel, Liew has received six nominations at the prestigious Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, including Best New Graphic Novel and Best Writer/Artist.

Besides "The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye", Liew is no stranger to comics giants Marvel and DC. He has worked on Marvel's Sense and Sensibility as well as DC Comics' Doctor Fate, among others.
