‘Glee’ Breakout Star Harry Shum Jr. Joins the Cast of ‘Crazy Rich Asians’!

The upcoming movie adaptation of Kevin Kwan’s best-selling novel ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ adds another hottie to its stellar Asian cast.
Harry Shum Jr. from ‘Glee’ fame will join Constance Wu (“Fresh Off the Boat”), Michelle Yeoh (“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”), Henry Golding, Gemma Chan (“Humans”), rapper Awkwafina, and many others.
The film will be filmed mainly in Singapore and Malaysia, and from director’s Jon M. Chu’s tTwitterand Instagram, it seems like the cast and crew are enjoying their time in Singapore!
“Crazy Rich Asians” follows American-born Chinese economics professor Rachel Chu, played by Wu, who travels to Singapore with her history professor boyfriend Nick Young (Golding) to his hometown of Singapore for the wedding of his best friend Colin Khoo, played by Chris Pang.
She eventually discovers that Nick comes from an incredibly wealthy family and that he’s the most eligible bachelor in Asia, with every woman in his hometown wanting to take Rachel out of the picture.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Shum is set to play Astrid Leong’s (Chan) ex-boyfriend.
