Zhang Ziyi Joins Legendary’s MonsterVerse in ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ Film!

Zhang Ziyi is said to play a major role in the monster movie franchise, starring alongside Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, and Ken Watanabe.
The upcoming Godzilla movie. “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” is the sequel to the 2014 reboot, directed by Michael Dougherty. The film is set to premiere in March 2019, while the highly-anticipated Godzilla Vs. Kong, directed by Adam Wingard, will drop in theatres in May 2020.
The Legendary and Warner Bros. ‘MonsterVerse’ includes Godzilla and the recent Kong: Skull Island.
Zhang Ziyi’s film credits include Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, The Grandmaster and Memoirs Of A Geisha where she received a Golden Globe, a BAFTA and a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination.
