[Synopsis] Choreographed by Sammo Hung, critics claim that Donnie Yen delivers perhaps the best acting performance of his career. Ip Man hit the Hong Kong no. 1 box office during 2008 Christmas, and its worldwide box office even exceeds HKD 100 million. The undisputed toast of Foshan though is Ip Man (Donnie Yen), known not only for his superb martial arts but also for his great humility and integrity. Content with his wealthy yet low profile living style with his wife (Lynn Xiong) and son, Ip Man refuses to take disciples, though he is at times forced to give sound beatings to rash challengers, including a tough one from small town (Louis Fan Siu Wong). [Selling Points] Andrew Lau martial arts action Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen is a continuation of the 1995 television series Fist of Fury, with Action superstar Donnie Yen (Ip Man) reprising his role as Chen Zhen, which the role made famous by Bruce Lee in the 1972 film of the same title. Rather than doing another remake, Donnie teams up with writer/producer Gordon Chan and director Andrew Lau (Infernal Affairs) to further the story of Chen Zhen. Besides playing the updated version of the larger-than-life martial artist, Donnie also personally choreographs the exhilarating fight scenes as the film's action director, including a stunning recreation of the unforgettable dojo showdown where Chen Zhen faces 150 challengers alone. Legend of The Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen is not just Donnie's one-man show, though, as he is supported by an award-winning cast that includes Shu Qi, Anthony Wong, and Huang Bo.

[Synopsis] Chen Zhen (Donnie Yen) vanished and was supposedly dead. He actually left China and joined the Allied war effort on the European battlefields. While China is traumatized by military cliques during the Warlord Era in the 1920s, Japan has grown into the most powerful foreign national group there in Shanghai. Chen Zhen returns to Shanghai in the guise of a young entrepreneur in order to infiltrate Club Casablanca, whose owner Tycoon Liu (Anthony Wong) is suspected of collusion with the Japanese. He soon wins the trust of Liu while falling in love with the gorgeous club singer Kiki (Shu Qi). This directorial debut of two young directors is comprised of four interconnected stories about love and lovers. From former lovers flirting dangerously with reunion to a laundry shop worker who fantasizes about her dreamy customer as a mannequin, the two writer-directors find their own twisted ways to explore the nature of love and its dire consequences with the support of producer Pang Ho Cheung.
