The annual National Youth Film Awards is back for its 4th edition!

In its search for youth filmmaking talents, the National Youth Film Awards (NYFA) has decided to cast its net wider by introducing a new category, the Open Youth category.

If you are between the age of 15 to 35, whether you are a media student or have filmmaking experience or not, you are now eligible to submit your films to NYFA to be considered for awards.

A jury consisting of veteran names from the local media industry will nominate the award submissions from across 26 award categories such as, amongst many others, Best Direction, Best Camera Work, Best Production Design, and of course, Best Picture.

Prizes also include cash prizes starting from $1000 and up and also selected professional film courses worth $15,000, professional equipment such as the Ursa Mini Pro, and fast track access to grant applications and opportunities to work with film professionals. And starting this year, winning films will get the opportunity to be regionally distributed.

Submissions are open till 18 May 2018. So quick, submit your films!
