Marvel Superheroes Assemble at Sentosa for the Sandsation Exhibition

Featuring 15 larger-than-life sand sculptures of popular Marvel superhero characters, don’t miss the Sentosa Sandsation: Marvel Edition exhibition at Siloso Beach, Sentosa.

Apart from the beautiful sand sculptures, there will also be another 14 sculptures in the Sentosa International Sand Sculpting Championship where sand sculptures around the world pit against each other, all revolving around the theme of a ‘Marvel-inspired’ sculpture.

Walk through the exhibition to see some of the more popular Marvel superheroes such as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Black Panther and Captain Marvel. The majestic villain, Thanos makes a pretty impressive appearance as well. Internationally-acclaimed Singaporean sand sculptor JOOheng Tan serves as the creative director for this exhibition and is the sculptor who created the Iron Man sand sculpture.

Other activities include a ‘Hulk Smash’ simulator where visitors can watch the ground ‘break and tremor’ according to the intensity of your smash; Freeze Frame Station encourages visitors to show off their superhero moves in a 180-degree photo opportunity; sand sculpting workshops for the inquisitive ones to learn more about the art form; and enjoy movies by the beach at Palawan Green.
