Morph into Venom with the New 'Venom' Photo Filter, Launching at STGCC!

Before the alien supervillain, Venom drops its standalone movie on 4th October, head down to the annual Singapore Toy, Game & Comics Convention (STGCC) this weekend to check out the various activities at the ‘Venom’ booth.
Sony Pictures Entertainment will also be launching a special Facebook camera filter where Venom’s alien life form takes over the faces of viewers and becomes one with them. The first 1000 visitors who post their Venom-ous selfies on Sony’s Facebook page will receive a limited edition Venom mask!
The iconic black slime, a characteristic of symbiotes like Venom will be available for fans to play with as well!
Fans of Spider-Man will be able to take photographs at the specially-constructed 3D photo-corner and pose with cosplayers from the Spiderverse club. Meet fellow superfans who will be there to bring the Singapore chapter of the international fandom to the convention - “Spiderverse SG” will celebrate the release of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Any comic convention wouldn’t be complete without the iconic superheroes that we’ve grown to love. Apart from new toy launches, there will be a plethora of events and meet-and-greets with Marvel artists as they celebrate the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) 10th anniversary.
Hot Toys Cosbaby’s rendition will see everyone’s favourite friendly neighbourhood superhero will trade in his usual red-and-blue for an opalescent combination of metallic red, green, blue and gold.
Ryan Meinerding, Marvel Studios’ Head of Visual Development will be there to meet the fans. He has contributed to titles such as Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, Marvel’s Black Panther, and the recent Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War.
Known as the man who officiated Batman’s wedding, comic artist David Finch who has contributed to notable Marvel and DC comics will also be present at the event.
In addition, don’t miss the Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle… in LEGO form! The whopping 6000 LEGO bricks set will be available in limited quantity at STGCC. On top of it. other Harry Potter merchandise will be available onsite for purchase, including the Harry Potter brickheadz X Go Brick Me collections, which will allow visitors to construct their own renditions of the Chosen One and his companions using Brickheadz materials.
Other pop culture collections to check out at the 2-day extravaganza are Mr. Kiasu, Star Wars, Hello Kitty, Purrballs, Disney, Pokemon, Game of Thrones, and the fan-favourite Tokidoki, where creator Simone Legno will be at the event to meet with and sign autographs for the fans.
