John Cena Joins Fast & Furious 9

The WWE wrestler-turned-actor is joining Vin Diesel in the movie franchise, which is expected to be released in May 2020.
Cena’s character is being kept under wraps at the moment, but reports claimed that he will be playing a ‘badass’ character.
However, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will not be part of the ninth film in the franchise, but he stars in the soon-to-be-released spinoff: “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw”.
Cena’s acting career has been one heck of a ride. He has starred in ‘The Marine’, ’12 Rounds’, comedy 'Blockers' and a leading role in the Transformers spin-off, Bumblebee. He even has an impressive voice work - from Surf’s Up 2: WaveMania to 2017’s Ferdinand, in addition to hosting the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards for 2 consecutive years.
