Singapore was chosen as one of the location shoots for the series. The production team along with the main cast were here for a 10-day shoot in July last year. The cast filmed at Chinatown’s Smith Street, Atlas Bar, Orchard Road, the National Gallery, Esplanade Park, SOTA ( School of The Arts), Helix Bridge, Marina One, the hotel Parkroyal on Pickering, LASALLE College of the Arts, Oasia Hotel Singapore Robinson Road and Pulau Ubin, using a mix of local and international crew.

While this new trailer doesn’t show any scenes from the upcoming series, the San Diego Comic-Con trailer showed a spot-and-you’ll-miss-it, 2-second snippet of the interior of Marina One Residences. There is no word as to how the Singapore skyline will be featured, but it is exciting to know that Singapore is (sorta) part of this award-winning series.

The scene of the interior of Marina One Residences appears at 1:45 seconds into the trailer

Westworld was created for television by Jonathan Nolan & Lisa Joy, who are executive producers with J.J. Abrams, Athena Wickham, Richard J. Lewis, Ben Stephenson, and Denise Thé.
