Due to the current development of the COVID-19 situation, Singapore Chinese Film Festival has announced that they have decided to move the entire event to the second half of 2020. Currently, there are no fixed dates but SCFF will announce the new festival dates in due course.

It is an extremely disappointing time for everyone due to the health crisis as everything seems to be put on halt, cancelled or postponed but for the health and well-being of society, it is a right move to prevent large crowd gathering as much as possible. It is with a sense of social responsibility that big event like SCFF have decided to support the Singapore government’s call for social distancing and cancelling non-critical events to minimise community spread of the virus.

SCFF won’t make it so far without everyone’s resilience and remains extremely grateful for having the public’s unwavering support.  For more information, you can visit SCFF’s website for periodic updates.

Singapore Chinese Film Festival 2020 is jointly organised by the Singapore University of Social Sciences and the Singapore Film Society.
