Warner Bro. Postpones Four Big Title Amid Pandemic Situation

By Chen Shun  /  25 Mar 2020 (Wednesday)

Warner Bro. has decided to postpone the theatrical release for four their upcoming movies, namely, Wonder Woman 1984In the HeightsScoob and Malignant. Wonder Woman 1984 has been pushed back to an August release later this year while the latter three remain undated until after the coronavirus pandemic has passed. Toby Emmerich, Warner Bros. Pictures Group chairman, said in a statement regarding the postponement of Wonder Women 1984:

“When we greenlit Wonder Woman 1984, it was with every intention to be viewed on the big screen and are excited to announce that Warner Bros. Pictures will be bringing the film to theatres on Aug. 14,”

“We hope the world will be in a safer and healthier place by then.”

The four films are not the first and definitely not the last titles being pushed back. They are joining titles that are push back like Disney’s Mulan, The New Mutants and Black Widow, MGM’s delay of No Time to Die, Paramount pulling A Quiet Place Part II from its calendar and Universal pushing F9: The Fast Saga back a whole year.
