On behalf of the European Union in Singapore, we are sad to announce the postponement of the 30th edition of the European Union Film Festival (EUFF). The EUFF was initially scheduled to take place from the 13th to 24th May 2020. In view to the postponement of the annual festival, European Union Ambassador, Barbara Plinkert responded:

“In light of the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, we have decided to postpone the 30th edition of EUFF to May 2021. In these complex and unprecedented times, the safety of each and every one of our stakeholders, our student volunteers and cine-lovers who make the festival what it is, is of utmost importance to us. We intend to continue working closely with our venue partner National Gallery Singapore and return with an even stronger festival next year.”

EUFF is one of the longest-running film festivals in our local scene and it is known for featuring some of the best contemporary European movies, reflecting the diversity of perspective, histories and culture from every part of Europe.

The EUFF team is grateful for the support they receive from their long-term fans and is looking forward to seeing everyone again at their 30th edition next year.

The 30th edition of the European Union Film Festival (EUFF) is currently scheduled to take place in May 2021.
