Chadwick Boseman, star of 'Black Panther', dies at 43

By Rachelle  /  29 Aug 2020 (Saturday)

The star of Black Panther, T'Challa/Black Panther himself, Chadwick Boseman has died of cancer at the age of 43.

The news was confirmed on his Twitter account:

Boseman was diagnosed with colon cancer four years ago. He made fans worried when he appeared looking gaunt when he posted an Instagram video to bring awareness to Operation 42 on Jackie Robinson Day back in April.

It is unclear what will happen to Black Panther 2 following the loss of its star. The film was scheduled to open in cinemas 5 May 2022.

Our thoughts and prayers to Boseman's family and friends.
