Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell to headline epic war film 'Devotion'

Lovecraft Country star Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell (Set It Up) will star in historical war epic Devotion, from director J.D. Dillard (Sweetheart).
The film will be set in 1950, as the Cold War looms. Majors and Powell play elite U.S. Navy fighter pilots who form a firm friendship that is tested on the battlefield when one of them is shot down behind enemy lines. Jake Crane and Jonathan A. Stewart will write the screenplay with revisions by Dillard and is based on the book by Adam Makos.
Majors had previously starred in films like The Last Black Man in San Francisco and Da 5 Bloods. He is currently starring in the acclaimed horror drama series Lovecraft Country. Powell on the other hand has starred in films such as The Expendables 3, Hidden Figures, and the Netflix romcom Set It Up. He also has tv credit under his belt for appearing in shows like NCIS and Scream Queens. The actor is set to appear in the new Netflix animated series, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous and Top Gun: Maverick that is set to open in cinemas 1 July 2021.
