There’s no better time to binge-watch your favourite series, and this July, fans get to be empowered by women on the small screen as the first five seasons of Supergirl and the first season of DC’s Stargirl lands on HBO GO for the first time!

DC's Stargirl follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This drama reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series that focuses on the character that started creator Geoff Johns' career as a comic book writer when he created her in 1999, lovingly inspired by his late sister who was killed in a 1996 plane explosion. Stars Brec Bassinger, Yvette Monreal and Anjelika Washington.


Supergirl Seasons 1 to 5 Streams from Thursday, July 1

More than one Kryptonian survived the destruction of their home planet, however Kara Zor-El was lost in the Phantom Zone for years before arriving on Earth where her famous cousin Kal-El aka Superman had also found refuge. Raised by her adoptive family, the Danvers, Kara grew up learning to hide her powers until the fateful day when she decided to embrace her abilities as Supergirl. Follow her remarkable adventures, personal trials and inner conflict as she navigates her life as both Kara and Supergirl, across five eventful seasons. Stars Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks and Chyler Leigh.

Gossip Girl (HBO Max Original series) Premieres Thursday, July 8. A new episode premieres every subsequent Thursday.

This brand-new HBO Max Original series picks up eight years after the original website went dark, with original cast member Kristen Bell returning as narrator. Now, a new generation of privileged New York teens are introduced to the social surveillance of Gossip Girl, highlighting the increasingly pervasive influence of social media and celebrity culture on teenagers, set against the ever-changing landscape of New York City. Stars Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown and Thomas Doherty.

No Sudden Move (HBO Max Original movie) Premieres in July (Date to be confirmed).

Directed by Steven Soderbergh, No Sudden Move has an all-star cast including Don Cheadle, Benicio del Toro, David Harbour, Ray Liotta, Jon Hamm and Brendan Fraser. Set in 1955 Detroit, the HBO Max Original movie centers on a group of small-time criminals who are hired to steal what they think is a simple document. When their plan goes horribly wrong, their search for who hired them – and for what ultimate purpose – weaves them through all echelons of the race-torn, rapidly changing city.

Traffickers: Inside The Golden Triangle (HBO Asia Original docu-series) All three episodes premiere Friday, July 23.

The three-part HBO Asia Original documentary series, Traffickers: Inside The Golden Triangle, exposes the secretive epicenter of illicit drug production and follows the rise and demise of three infamous drug kingpins chasing power, wealth and infamy, inside the Golden Triangle. Unravel how ‘the Opium King’, ‘The Mekong River Pirate’ and ‘The Playboy Drug Lord’ exploited drugs, war and violence to claw their way to the top. With exclusive interviews from members of their own inner circles, drug enforcement agents, and victim’s families, Traffickers brings to life the crimes and busts that brought these drug kingpins to their knees.
