Avenger stars Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson reunites to star in Apple Studios film, 'Ghosted'

Apple Studios is slating in a high profile project film with Captain America, Chris Evans and Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson! The two will star in Ghosted, directed by Dexter Fletcher.
If you don't know who Dexter Fletcher is, he's the man who stepped in and finished Bohemian Rhapsody after Bryan Singer's "MIA" from the production set and directed Rocketman. Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, the writers of Deadpool and Zombieland, wrote the script. Both of them oversaw the script for Escape from Spiderhead, which was subsequently developed into a proposal for Skydance.

Everything we need to know is currently being shrouded in secrecy! However, it has been revealed that the project is touted as a high-concept romantic action adventure in the spirit of Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner's 1984 adventure film Romancing the Stone.
As of right now, this is Johansson's latest deal. She is also noted to be a member of Wes Anderson's film ensemble, and she is also involved in a lawsuit against Disney's studio decision to release Black Widow for premium purchase on Disney+ on the same day it was released in theaters. When studios switch titles to streamers, the disagreement has become a proving ground for stars and their representatives attempting to establish a new template on terms with no backend compensation.
Reuniting with Avengers filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo, Evans alongside Ryan Gosling recently finished The Gray Man, an action thriller film and he has lately been distinguished for his legal drama, Defending Jacob with Apple.
Johansson and Evan have appeared together in three Avengers flicks, including Captain America: Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War.
CAA represents Johansson, CAA and 3 Arts represent Evans, and CAA represent Fletcher; WME represents Reese and Wernick.
