Top-Grossing Malaysian CNY Comedy 'Close Ur Kopitiam' is coming to Singapore!

Close Ur Kopitiam《关你茶室》, the top grossing Malaysian Chinese New Year comedy, is set to hit cinemas on 27 February!

Presented and produced by Dissy, a prominent social media company known for its online content creation and team of popular influencers, Close Ur Kopitiam marks the company’s debut in filmmaking.

Starring Songbill 丧彪, Yuriko 王籽涵, Dahee 大Hee, Anthony 蚂蚁 and many more, the film also features special cameos from Singaporean stars Mark Lee 李国煌 and Jaspers Lai 赖宇涵. Close Ur Kopitiam follows the story of Ah Biao (Songbill), who inherits his mother’s kopitiam only to face an unexpected crisis. After a clash with a popular influencer (Anthony), the kopitiam becomes embroiled in a media storm, causing the business to falter. As Ah Biao and his wife, Yuriko, work tirelessly to turn things around, they also face the looming threat of the kopitiam being repossessed. The film promises a heartwarming story of resilience and unity, demonstrating that no challenge is too big to overcome when people come together.
