'Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday' is officially in production!

It's official – the next big Avengers film, Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday is finally under way!
Marvel Studios made a surprise livestream to make the announcement, revealing chairs with cast names on them but they sure challenged fan allegience when each reveal only happened every 15 minutes or so. The whole affair lasted over 5 hours.
Here are the names in reveal order:

- Simu Liu (Shang-Chi)
- Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova)
- Kelsey Grammer (Beast)
- Lewis Pullman (Sentry)
- Danny Ramirez (Falcon)
- Joseph Quinn (Human Torch)
- David Harbour (Red Guardian)
- Winston Duke (M’Baku)
- Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost)

This list isn't indicated to be the complete list as some expected names were notably left out (namely Tom Holland and Chris Evans). We can still keep our hopes up for either of them to show up in the end and perhaps more names to be revealed further down the road. 27 names are already aplenty but we expect no less from a film attempting to feature not only the Avengers but the X-Men and Fantastic Four as well!
Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday will be the second film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's sixth phase, opening in cinemas 30 April 2026, after Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps arrives this 24 July to kick off the phase.
