All In! Young Writers Media Festival 2012: The Write Media for the Write Audience

All In! Young Writers Media Festival 2012 will be held at the Rendezvous Hotel from 18 to 19 February 2012. Registration fee for the two-day Festival is $30, inclusive of two buffet lunches and four tea breaks!



The objectives of All In! are as follows:
  1. Provide young writers a platform to meet their peers and established practitioners.
  2. Expose young writers to the multitude of writing opportunities beyond the school context and familiarize them with the latest trends.
  3. Inspire the young people to write and develop their skills in writing as a basic life skill.

The two-day Festival offers 6 workshops, 4 forums, 2 panel discussions, an Author’s Book Fair and networking sessions. In total, more than 25 speakers - authors, academics, publishers, poets, booksellers, librarians, media specialists   and technology experts - are making presentations and taking part in discussions at the Festival.

  • P.S. InCinemas' very own film blogger-reviewer Eternality Tan will be conducting a 30-min workshop, "What the Flick?! - The Art of Writing Film Reviews" on Sunday, 19 February 2012 at 11:00AM. To reflect the changes in the industry and the shift towards all things digital, All In! has accordingly included various sessions on social media, e-book publishing, e-book stores and transmedia publications. The programme has been specially organized with IT-savvy young people in mind.

Who should attend?
Students (age 16 and above), from Sec 4, Junior College, ITE, Polytechnic or enrolled in any tertiary institution who aspire to write.
