Jack Neo's upcoming movie to feature Singapore Soldiers

Singapore, 13 July 2012 – J Team, mm2 Entertainment, Clover Films, Grand Brilliance, Neo-Film, Sky Films, K Copter, Vividthree Productions and StarHub, are proud to announce their latest collaboration to produce the first Singapore-Malaysia “duology” AH BOYS TO MEN 《新兵正传》!
Directed by million-dollar director Jack Neo 梁智强，the movie will be starring local veteran actor Richard Low 刘谦益, well-known actress/comedian Irene Ang 洪爱玲, celebrated musician and actor Roy Loi 黎沸挥, Wang Lei 王雷and Jacky Chin 奇贤. Besides these actors, Jack Neo will also be introducing a group of fresh faces to the audiences, including famous bloggers like Tosh, Qiu Qiu and Mr. Brown.
AH BOYS TO MEN《新兵正传》, with a production budget of S$3-million, the movie shares how youngsters these days step out off their comfort zone and learn the importance of protecting their country. It will definitely bring back memories of Singaporean men who have served National Service, at the same time bring interest to young boys who have yet to join the army.
AH BOYS TO MEN《新兵正传》 will be released in Singapore on 8 November 2012 (Part 1) and 7 February 2013 (Part 2) respectively. The movie is distributed by in Singapore by Clover Films and Golden Village Pictures.
