Super Mommy comes to Resort World Sentosa

This May, Super Mommy will be coming to Resorts World Sentosa. After a hugely successful show in Taiwan with numerous sold out shows, this original and heartwarming Mandarin musical is set to take on familiar local flavours at Resorts World Theatre. Super Mommy introduces an exciting and talented Singaporean cast flacked by Taiwanese thespians for this musical.
Former radio deejay, veteran host, singer and actor, Lin You Fa, is set to wow his fans in his role of a grandfather who suffers from dementia in Super Mommy. In a breakthrough leap, popular multi-talented comedian and host, Jaspers Lai, will cross-dress and play the role of Grandmother. Dubbed 'Queen of theme Songs', singer and songwriter Chriz Tong, pairs up with the up-and-coming local actor, Benjamin Josiah Tan, making up the talented cast of this musical.
Performed in Mandarin, this live theatrical musical is set in a multi-generational household, exploring the juggling act of a dual-income family in looking after a young son and caring for an elderly family member suffering from dementia. Enters a capable domestic helper from Indonesia and audience will see how family dynamics go on a dramatic roller coaster with simmering tensions, emotional outbursts and tear-jerking moments, all treated with great comedic and entertaining effect. Eventually, the musical is an unfolding story about the importance of family ties, appreciation for domestic helpers - the unsung heroes in our lives - and the pursuit of a career in rat-race Singapore.
