Hello there!
Missed the biggest Star Wars Day over the weekend? We got you covered with the second edition of the Star Wars Run Singapore 2018 and Star Wars Day: May The 4th Be With You Festival. The two day event organized by Esprimo with support by Singapore Tourism Board, drew legions of fans from Singapore and around the region who gathered together to celebrate their love for Star Wars.
Star Wars Night Run
The night run saw 10,000 local and overseas participants across three race categories, including the competitive 10km, non-competitive 5.4km and the inaugural 540m Young Jedi Dash - a category specially designed for children aged 4 to 9 years old.
Albin Johnson and Pink Astromech Droid R2-KT
Star Wars fans got up close and personal with the founder of the 501st Legion, Albin Johnson, and his pink astromech droid, R2-KT, who were roving around the festival grounds on 4th and 5th May.
Costume Band Performance
Star Wars fans were treated to a line-up of classic Star Wars themes by the Dark Empire, Singapore's first Star Wars tribute band who arranges and performs their own rendition of classic Star Wars themes.
