Synopsis
Inspired by his relationship with his own father, actor-turned-director Diego Luna paints a story of an old, lonely American pig farmer, Ambrose (Danny Glover) and his estranged daughter (Maya Rudolph) as they drive through Mexico in an attempt to sell off a prized hog.
As they traverse through a familiar yet distant land and begin to bond, situations begin to look bleak, as Ambrose’s health starts to fail and the two begin to bond over lost memories and missed opportunities.
