Abandoned by her parents, Meili was raised by her elder sister, who is infertile.
Meili is set up and raped by her brother-in-law before giving birth to a daughter
in secret. Meili later runs away with her lover, but soon her lover abandons her
and her sister, a victim of domestic violence, comes to her for help. When her
brother-in-law finds her, Meili resigns herself to the dire reality.
22岁的美丽是一个命运多舛的女孩。她从小被父母抛弃，由姐姐抚养长大，与姐姐和姐夫的关系复杂。美丽步入社会后，姐姐一家经常向她索要金钱。为了躲开这一切，美丽辞掉了干洗店的工作，决定跟随爱人李雯去上海。不料李雯以公司规定为由，要求美丽留在长春。无助的美丽认识了年轻男孩和新的工作。好景不长，她的未来充满了更多无情的欺骗与背叛。
