Synopsis
Another of the best-loved and most popular movie musicals of all time, SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN earned a Golden Globe for Donald O’Connor as Best Actor, and two Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress and Best Musical Score. A silent film star falls for a chorus girl just as he and his delusionally jealous screen partner are trying to make the difficult transition to talking pictures in 1920s Hollywood. The renowned film critic Roger Ebert wrote that “no one who loves movies can afford to miss it”.
