Synopsis
Singapore Premiere | RemasteredA 40-year-old high school teacher Yiu-kwok is caught in his midlife crisis, a marriage on the rocks, and a taboo teacher-student romance when his student Choy-lam doesn’t seem to hide her crush on him, while his wife Manching is off to care for her dying ex-lover, Mr Seng. The film poetically explores the trials and tribulations of middle adulthood, grieving over broken relationships, long-gone youth and lost dreams. While the film is quiet in tone, it’s a deeply affecting human drama that captures turbulent emotions.林耀国是个步入中年的中学国文老师，他生活安稳，学生们都爱上他的课。他的其中一个女学生胡彩蓝爱上了他，她有他妻子文靖的年轻影子。文靖是耀国的中学同学，两人育有两个儿子，生活和谐幸福，直到前夫盛老师的出现。盛身患末期癌症，文靖向耀国要求「放一 个月假」，用她的办法去解决那个困扰她的心魔。同情、不安与愤怒轮流折磨着耀国。
