Synopsis
Wen Shan is a mediocre screenwriter struggling to make a living in Beijing. By chance, he begins to write eulogies for a living. He meets the families of the deceased, carefully observes, listens to the stories, and at last, puts pen to paper. As he restores the lives of others, he finds his own place in the city and finally realizes that ordinary people can take the centre stage too.
闻善在北京从事编剧工作，但生活并不顺遂。一次偶然的机会下，他改以撰写悼词为生。在与 各色普通人的相遇里，闻善慰藉他人、也获得了温暖，最终找到了自己的人生方向。
