Synopsis
Beibei is an ordinary and typical married woman with kids. Being the main breadwinner of her family, she decides to seek opportunities in her southern hometown after being laid off during the pandemic. She constantly navigates her journey with courage and forbearance, while trying hard to restrain her desires in the midst of settling her family and managing her relationships. This film uses a pseudo-documentary filming style to present a female image trapped in a dilemma of reality and relationships, life pressure and inner solitude, while striving to develop herself. It delves into her journey of self-exploration beyond her roles as a wife, mother, and daughter.
