Divorced in her forties, Jin now enjoys a balanced life in her sixties. When her daughter, Zuer, dies in an accident, Jin flies to New York, only to discover that she is responsible for Zuer's embryo. But with the embryo's fate in her hands, she must confront her first daughter, Emma, who Jin gave up after a teenage pregnancy. Jin is forced to face the collision of past regrets and future responsibilities.
