Synopsis
The film opens with a horrifying crime: a young girl's charred remains are found in a Chennai garbage bin, the murder broadcast live on social media. The incident deeply shakes IPS officer Dhruv Korak in Mumbai, as it mirrors the unsolved murder of his own daughter. Driven by a need for justice, Dhruv unofficially joins the Chennai investigation. His primary lead is Tamizharivu, a man spotted fleeing the crime scene who claims he was merely on his morning run for swim-sport training. Arivu is diagnosed with hyperthymesia, a rare condition granting near-perfect memory recall. This "gift" is also a "curse," as he is haunted by a failed love. As Dhruv delves into Arivu's memories to find the real serial killer, Arivu begins to experience his past in an out-of-body state, a phenomenon ancient Indian wisdom refers to as Maargam (Astral Travel). What Arivu uncovers is not just memory but the essence of Maargan itself, leading to the absolute truth.
