Synopsis

Amanai Shigeki paves his own way to practice Ainu Puri (the Ainu way) and cherish his roots in Shiranuka, Hokkaido. He passes down the culture and the traditional salmon fishing to his son, Motoki. Intimately following Shigeki and his family, the film explores their endeavor to live as Ainu in today's Japan.
