While The Odyssey delivers all the spectacle audiences have come to expect from Christopher Nolan, it's at its strongest when it slows down. Matt Damon delivers a compelling performance as Odysseus, balancing the resilience of a legendary warrior with the quiet vulnerability of someone who has spent years fighting simply for another chance to see his family.
