Synopsis
Woo-jin is a high school pitcher with an incredible fastball, but he suffers from the “Yips”—a sudden loss of his ability to pitch. Whenever a batter stands at the plate, he freezes up, losing his confidence and skill. Just as his coaches and teammates are about to give up on him, a mysterious transfer student named Jae-hee appears.
Jae-hee becomes Woo-jin’s manager to help him overcome his past trauma. He follows him everywhere, providing nutritious meals, strength training, and mental coaching. Through their secret one-on-one practice sessions, Woo-jin slowly regains his form and begins to throw strikes again.
However, just as things start to improve, Jae-hee suddenly disappears. When Woo-jin finally finds him, he learns the shocking truth: Jae-hee is a ghost. He was the very batter Woo-jin accidentally hit with a ball in middle school—the root cause of his trauma. Now, lost in confusion, the two must find a way to save each other.
