Synopsis
More than 10 million migrant workers had to walk home without transport of support when COVID lockdowns were announced in India. Bheed is the story of 24 hours of one such day that when perhaps a bigger calamity than COVID struck. Set in a checkpoint where Surya Kumar at the helm has to transcend across his own personal history of inadequacy and manage the 100m long traffic jam, which turns into a microcosm of the most disparate, unalike and largest society of the world. He must fit in to protect this undivided crowd, (Bheed), to feel like one. From the director of Article 15 and MULK comes this life changing one day story.
