Synopsis

Proactive real estate broker Yuen (Wong You Nam) has been working in the property market long enough to know the business inside out. Despite his client-motivated and sales-driven attributes, he can barely make a decent living off of the commission earnings, let alone owning a home of his own. Lodging in an unoccupied flat during the night, he learns of the place’s troubled past that makes it all but unsellable. Since making a deal on a haunted unit guarantees a higher commission fee, Yuen readily puts his morality aside and finds a buyer for the flat. But his plan hits a snag when the owner refuses to sell, feeling that this is the only recollection he remains in the human world… Four sisters and their youngest brother are surrounding their dying mother (Susan Shaw) in the hospital. Falling into a coma for a long period of time, she shows no sign of recovery, and her children are preparing for the worst. But they are far from grief-stricken, except Sis 4 (Loletta Lee). Indeed, they wish to end their mother’s life support sooner in order to sell her luxurious villa and split the money. They hold a family meeting to vote for the fate of their mother, much to the disgust of Sis 4. Shortly after, they receive stunning news that their mother has come out of coma. What they are not prepared is that, the mother has made her way back to life with all her might, in an attempt to settle the score with them once and for all. Money-crazed landlord Cheung (Tai Bo) owns a unit in a rundown tenement building. By subdividing it into ten rooms, he receives a respectable amount of money from monthly rental income. By settling his whole family into one of his cramped rooms, he clearly values money over quality of living. To further maximise the rental return, he secretly reduces every room by one square inch, thus making space for an additional room for rent. But his wishful thinking is met with discontent by one of his former tenants who has been refusing to move out. To sabotage Cheung’s plan, he is going to wreak havoc by revealing his scariest side.
