Synopsis
Chen Liang is a young Chinese illegal immigrant living in Japan. One day he receives a job offer meant for someone else. In his desperation, he pretends to be the intended recipient in order to get the job. He starts a new life living working at a traditional Japanese soba restaurant under an elderly soba master. The fear of exposing his real identity at any moment is very real. Winner for Culinary Cinema Award in BERLIN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2018
