Synopsis
June 1940. After France falls to German occupation, an obscure general escapes to London and calls on the French to resist. At first alone and without support, he gradually inspires soldiers, students, and resistance fighters in France, Britain, and Africa to join his cause. Their courage and determination lay the foundations of a resistance movement that will challenge the course of history.
