Synopsis
Shenxiu has grappled with feelings of abandonment since her mother left the family when she was a child. While on a family cruise, Shenxiu falls into the sea and encounters an extraordinary underwater world with a peculiar restaurant, where she meets its wildly eccentric chef, Nanhe. Shenxiu is taken on a journey through this fantastical realm as she tries to find her mother again. Set against a backdrop of mesmerising colours and enthralling animation, Deep Sea weaves together a surreal world and an emotionally rich narrative, standing as a testament to TIAN Xiaopeng's ingenuity, affirming his status as one of China's pioneering CG artists.
