Synopsis
Two episodes from the six-part horror anthology original series by HBO Asia – the Singapore-based episode directed by Eric Khoo, as well as the Indonesia-based episode directed by Joko Anwar, will each tell stories based on their respective countries’ deeply-rooted superstitions and myths with a modern update. Her efforts to help these children attract the wrath of their adopted mother – the vengeful Wewe Gombel. Folklore: Nobody Duration: 51 mins Directed by Eric Khoo Starring Li Wen Qiang, Maguire Jian, Sivakumar Palakrishnan, Aric Hidir, Louis Wu, Dayang Nurbalqis A Pontianak is awakened when a foreman and a construction worker attempt to bury the body of a dead girl instead of burning her. A series of unfortunate events begin to occur at the construction site.
